General FAQ

Q - What are your charges?
A - Our minimum service charges are Rs.350 per visit per PC.

Q - What are Charges if more than one equipment is Faulty?
A - Charges are flexible and dependent on time required to complete, which is pre negotiated on scope of work

Q - What are standard charges for Data Backup and Formatting?
A - For Desktops Rs. 500 and For Laptop Rs. 750

Q - Which areas do you service?
A - We service entire Mumbai municipal area and nearby suburbs.

Q - Do you do collect / deliver?
A - Yes, if you would like your item collected, please just ask.

Q - What are your working hours?
A - We work from 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM Monday to Saturday.

Q - Do you sell or upgrade PCs, laptops, servers?
A - Yes we do upgrade and sell IT Hardware equipment with associated accessories.

Q - Do you repair computers parts?
A - Yes we do repair computer parts.

Q - What are your charges for repairs of parts?
A - Repair charges vary from part-to-part and case-to-case.

Q - Do you do visit homes and business?
A - Yes we do visit your premises.

Q - What forms of payment do you take?
A - We accept, Cash, Cheque . but cheque Facility is not available for new Customers.

Q - Do you repair or service Apple Mac's?
A - Yes we do! But don’t do Apple Mac’s On-site only Carry In

OnSite Repair And Service FAQ.

Q - How fast will you respond to my problem?
A – We required 24 hours to respond to your complain for the Time Complain is locked. But remote assistance is given almost instantly all the time .

Q - Can I Expect Service in 3 to 4 Hours of complains?
A – Well this will Depend on nature of complain and availability of technician in your area

Q - Do you offer a same day service?
A - Yes, we do offer a same day service to both residential and businesses customers. This applies to clients who may require their systems up and running within a few hours. This service is wholly dependent on current work flow

Q - Do I have to register to request a service call?
A - Yes. Complain is registered by calling Our Customer Support at office. Email services is only available for preexisting clients and Not For New Client.

Q - Do you replace faulty parts on site?
A - Yes we replace most of the faulty parts on site.

Q - Do you charge again if the problem cannot be solved in one visit?
A - We do not charge for additional visits if problem is not solved in one visit.

Q - You solve a problem, but what if it occurs again in next 7 days time?
A - We may provide a free visit on case-to-case basis.

Q – Do you charge visit charges if repairs or replacement estimate is not approved?
A - Yes At least Minimum visit charges

Q - What is your rate for repairs and upgrades?
A - For all work carried out at your premises will be charged at a set rate which is agreed by customer on registering complain in office . These rates are dependent on nature of work and its complexity.

Q - Do you offer no fix no fee?
A - Yes we do offer a "no fix, no fee" service to residential and business customers. This will only apply if we cannot find the problem. But in the event the client decided not to proceed with the repair or service, a diagnostic fee of Rs. 350 will be charged.

Q - What if additional faults are found?
A - If in the event of the initial repair or service process we find additional faults, the client will be notified and authorization will be required, before any additional work carried out or parts sourced.

Q - Do you provide stand-by equipment when repairs are in progress?
A - Stand-by parts are provided to corporate customers under comprehensive AMC

Walk In Client FAQ

Q - How long do I have to be without my PC?
A - We aim to sort most software repairs, health checks and virus removals within 24hrs of dropping the PC off with me. Hardware repairs may take longer if parts are required or for intermittent faults.

Q - What is your rate for repairs and upgrades?
A - All work carried out is charged at a set rate, depending on the job.

Q - What happens if you are not able to fix my laptop or computer ?
A - We will return the laptop or PC without the cost of a penny.

Q - What do you require to carry out the repair?
A - To carry out a repair or service on a your computer, we will need all administrative and main user passwords.
For Desktop :To carry out a repair or service all we need is the computer tower it self and no other accessories (if it is a windows based computer).
For Laptop laptop/notebook we will require the laptop itself and power adapter or cable to carry out the repair service.
For Apple MAC : Apple Mac computer, depending on the model we may require additional accessories (i.e. keyboards and mice) to access and repair the computer.

Q - Will my data be safe?
A - Yes your data is safe. All data backup is the sole responsibility of the client and important data must be backed up before our engineers start the repair process. All personal data will remain safe during general repair process. We cannot guarantee personal data if the hard drive is corrupt, we will try and recover the data where possible. We strongly recommend everyone backups up their data as often as possible, to avoid data loss.

Q - How long will the repair take?
A - We Will try and complete a job within 24 hours. If however, new parts are required or need ordering, this may prolong the repair process. In this case you will be kept updated interims of time scale for the repair.

Q - Do you offer a same day service?
A - Yes This service is offered for walk in customers who get their Desktop or laptop at our workshop, though equipment must be dropped off before 10.30am. There may be additional fee incurred for this service.

A - Yes we take AMC of corporate PCs

A - Yes, we do build LANs from scratch but assist involved agencysand deploy Wi-Fi connectivity solutions.

Q - What are your AMC Charges for corporate PCs?
A - AMC charges depend upon quantity of PCs and scope of support.

Q - What is the scope of your AMC service?
A - We cover hardware, standard systems software and Some application software .

Sales And Warranty FAQ.

Q - Is Warranty Provided by Technocomp ?
A - In Case of Customized (Assembled) Desktop : Yes but As per warranty terms and condition of Product/Part Manufacture
In Case Of Branded Desktop and Laptop: No, Warranty will be serviced by Manufacture/brand Service Center as per manufacture warranty terms and conditions

Q - When is Warranty Void on products?
A - Warranty is void for any burnt or physically damaged Goods/Products.

Q - Can I Return Sold Goods?
A - Only if Product is Faulty/Not functioning on Arrival.

Q - What details are Required to Claim Warranty?
A - We Require Original Invoice to claim Warranty.

Q - Can I Get Warranty Support of Products no Purchased from Technocomp?
A - Yes Will Give this Service but at Agreed Service Charges.

Q - How will I Get Price Of Product?
